OPTION 1: From time of entry to January 31st we will provide a 50% refund only (this will recoup costs incurred relevant to entry)
*After February 1st there will be no refund available
OPTION 2: Competitors can transfer their entry ticket to another Maunga to Moana Adventure event in the following year.
OPTION 3: Competitors can transfer their ticket to another person of their choice before February 28th at no extra charge.
*Additional purchases paid for at the time of entry (if any) will be refunded in addition to the entry fee.
*Where eligible, please allow up to 30 business days for your refund to be processed. It is the athlete’s responsibility to notify our M2M admin team when requesting the eligible refund.
*Full refunds will only be available if the event is CANCELLED by the Maunga to Moana Adventure committee.
If you cannot participate in the event, partial entry fee refunds are available in accordance with our Maunga to Moana Adventure refund policy and withdrawal dates only. After the stipulated dates, entry fees are non-refundable for withdrawals initiated by the athlete. We do have other options available below if required. Requests for refunds must be notified to the organiser in writing via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
M2M COMMITTEE CANCELLATION
If the event is CANCELLED by the Maunga to Moana Adventure committee then full refunds will be available including booking fees. If the entire event is CANCELLED we will work with all teams, competitors to work out the best process for refunds.
M2M COMMITTEE POSTPONEMENT
Due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances the event may be postponed at any time. It will be highly unlikely that the event will be postponed due to weather unless it is an extreme case then the M2M committee will make that decision.
In this situation entry fees are non-refundable, although we will do our best to reschedule the event. Postponement is at the race directors’ discretion and in the interest of participants safety.
NEED A NEW TEAM MEMBER?
You can change team members at no additional cost before the 28th of February, simply email with the details of the new team member. However changes after this date will be at the Race Coordinators discretion and will incur a fee of $20.00NZD.

Please note: It is each athlete’s sole responsibility to ensure that they can attend and compete in the event on the day. Other than what is set out in the cancellation policy above, no refunds will be given for change of mind, change of personal circumstances, or injury after the 1st of February.
If you decide to withdraw at the event after collecting your race kit at Check-In, please advise M2M Staff onsite and hand your race bib in. If you need to withdraw on race day, your details must be recorded by the M2M Headquarters.
NOTE: Please advise race officials if you are withdrawing on the day.
Depending on Covid-19 Alert levels The Maunga to Moana Adventure Race will be conducted in accordance with all health orders in place at the time of the event, including any requirements of the New Zealand Government and/or, Ministry of Health. Where the event becomes subject to a capacity or density limit, impacted participants may be rescheduled or deferral to the 2023 event .
COVID 19 POSTPONMENTS
For reasons relating to the Covid-19 Pandemic, where possible we will endeavour to either alter the event format so it conforms to the current restrictions, or postpone it to another suitable date. If this happens all registered athletes will have their race registration (and any additional purchases) automatically moved to the new event date. If for reasons beyond the Maunga To Moana Adventure organisers control the event does not take place at all for reasons relating to COVID-19, all registered athletes will have their race registration (and any additional purchases) moved to the same event in 2023.
If this is the case will provide as much notice as practical in relation to postponing the event and changing new event dates.
Postponing will be for the safety of our participants, volunteers, and the general public which must come first. We will do our best to pick a date that doesn’t clash with other events or holidays but are aware that some athletes may not be able to make this date.
In the circumstance set out above (COVID-19), there will be no refund of the athlete’s entry fee (or any portion of) or any other costs incurred in connection with the event. Please see refund policy above for general change in circumstances and withdrawal dates.
WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE THE NEW SCHEDULED DATES?
If competitors cannot make the new scheduled dates then athletes will be given a 12month credit to use for future Maunga to Moana Adventure events within New Zealand. Any additional purchases will be refunded full amount eg: accommodation, merchandise and photo packages etc.
